Get to know some common and easily identifiable emerging springtime plants by using your senses, while we learn about the nourishment and healing properties they offer. Learn to collect with respect for nature. Meet at the entrance kiosk.

The 2025 Run Four the Pines - Paws on the Path was a great run on the trails of the Prairie Pines Nature Preserve! Thank you to those who attended!

Dogs could join their runners in the 2025 4-mile, 1-mile, and youth mile (age 12 and under).  Proceeds went toward Prairie Pines trails and efforts to link them to the Lincoln trails system.
