Daycare Nature Walks

Schedule your daycare for a 1-2 hour visit during April and October on weekdays. Visits will involve nature & conservation-based activities appropriate for young ages, a nature walk, and playtime. Tours will be led by trained educators.

The Prairie Pines Nature Preserve and its many grassed trails are open to the public from 9 AM - 5 PM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (except major holidays). Hiking trails, Nature Ninja course, Visitor Center and restrooms are open.

What do our visitors think of Prairie Pines?

Prairie Pines Nature Preserve adult and child visitors can complete an ongoing informal post-visit survey about the site. The responses provide helpful input and insight. This section features some of the results and comments of survey participants. Thank you to those who participate!
